8 Tips & Tricks for Beginners! | Marsaction: Infinite Ambition

The red planet is an unforgiving one and if you want to survive, you’ll need all the help you can get. Keep these tips and tricks in mind as you begin your Colony for the best chance of survival.

1. Make the Most of your Resources

Resources like Quartz, Rare Earth, Corn, Alloy, and Gas are essential for building structures, manufacturing mechas, and conducting research. Having a balanced resource output is a great way to start as it allows you to steadily grow your armies and upgrade your buildings. However, it’s also a good idea to prioritize resource types based on immediate needs and future plans. This means checking your quests, tasks, and basic requirements for advancement every day to ensure that your resource output aligns with your Colony’s progression.

HINT - Be prepared to focus your efforts on producing different resources at a time! There may be points in the game where you want to sacrifice the production of one resource in favor of another.

2. Focus on Early Colony Development and Organization

Designate one area for resource production, another for defensive structures, and a third for research facilities to streamline your colony's growth. Organizing your buildings early on will save you a lot of trouble in the long run. It also ensures you can find what you’re looking for quickly, rather than searching your entire colony every time you need to find a building or resource.

HINT - Organize your Buildings as you unlock them. It’s much easier to do this when there are only a couple Buildings to move!

3. Join an Alliance and Participate Often

Joining an Alliance provides protection, support, and strategic opportunities. Collaborate with Alliance members to share resources and coordinate attacks. Active participation in Alliance Events not only strengthens your colony but also enhances your ability to secure key objectives in future battles. This is by far one of the best ways to increase your progression speed so join an Alliance early on!

HINT - Join an Alliance early in your adventure on Mars. Having the support will be a major benefit to several facets of your Colony’s progression.

4. Explore and Expand

Explore the Martian landscape to uncover new territories rich in resources. Gradually expand your base to gain control over more land and increase your resource income and strategic influence.

HINT - If there’s a Swarm that’s giving you trouble while you explore, take a look at the Heroes on your team, it may be time to give them an upgrade.

5. Only Battle When YOU have the advantage

Before engaging in battles against monsters or enemy colonies, assess your army's composition and strength compared to your opponent's. Only attack when you have a clear advantage to minimize resource losses and maximize rewards. Also factor in the post-battle costs of healing mechas and replenishing resources to ensure your army is battle-ready again. Sometimes, these costs can outweigh the benefits of victory, so battle wisely!

HINT - Don’t get cocky!

6. Recruit Heroes Regularly

Visit the Space Capsule regularly to recruit Heroes using your daily free warps. Hero warps come in two types: Basic and Quantum. Basic Warps reset every day, while Quantum warps reset every day and a half. These Warps offer different rewards from each other, so make sure to use them both! Heroes are pivotal in battles and provide significant boosts to both your combat and economic capabilities.

HINT - Basic and Quantum Warps offer different rewards from each other. Tap the “Warp Preview” icon in the Hero Recruitment Menu to see which Hero pieces you could receive. You can also tap the “View” button and see a full breakdown of the statistical likelihood of which Hero pieces you might receive.

7. Enhance Your Heroes

Once recruited, invest in your Heroes by enhancing their stats and abilities to unlock their full potential. Navigate to the Hero menu, select the desired Hero, and press the skill upgrade and star upgrade options to increase their strength. Keep in mind that you'll need Hero shards to upgrade your Hero stars which can be found from warps, events, or other rewards.

HINT - If you’re having difficulty clearing a high-level swarm, it may be time to upgrade your Heroes.

8. Participate in Events

Stay engaged with Events and Challenges offered regularly in the game. They provide valuable rewards such as rare items, special equipment, and experience points crucial for advancing your Base and enhancing your Heroes. Participating actively in Events not only accelerates your progress but can also foster Alliances and friendships to help you in the long run.

HINT - Events are a great way to collect items you need to upgrade buildings and complete research. Make sure you’re actively collecting each reward you earn!
